Why I built this

My messages lived everywhere. Mail for school and work, WhatsApp for friends and family, Slack for projects. Every app had its own red dot, and every red dot wanted me right now.

So I'd read something on my phone, think "I'll answer that later", and later never came. People waited days for a reply I had already written in my head. Important mail sank between newsletters. I wasn't ignoring anyone. I was just drowning.

I didn't want another inbox. I wanted one pile with everything that's waiting for me, the important things on top, and a way to get through it in a minute. That's Swipely.

Your to-do writes itself

"Can you send the slides?" "Pay before Monday." When a message asks something of you, it lands on your to-do with a date, linked to the message it came from.

  • From mail, WhatsApp and Slack alike
  • Due dates in your calendar
